If you do not have a valid Library Card, you may ask for a one-time Guest Pass to use the computers. In order to use a pass, you must simply go to the Digital Services Desk and request the use of a pass.
Residents of Maryville Academy can use our "Maryville Guest Pass". In order to use a pass, you must simply go to the Digital Services Desk and request the use of a pass. There are a limited number of Maryville Guest Passes. Once anyone from the school has used up the 4 hours on a pass, that particular pass will not be able to be used for the rest of the day. This means, if one group comes in and uses up all the time on the passes, any other groups visiting the library later in the day will not be able to access the computers. We cannot assign regular library guest passes to Maryville residents.
Any Maryville resident over the age of 18 is allowed to register for their own library card. They must provide a valid ID and proof of residency and will be responsible for the activity on their account just as all other patrons are. However, cards issued to the residents of Maryville Academy are limited to a maximum of 5 AV items on the account at any one time.
Employees of Maryville Academy may not use the Maryville Guest Passes. The cards are reserved solely for the use of the residents. Staff members, however, may register their own library cards from their home libraries with the circulation desk in order to access the computers.
